Ingredients

Technically called Blue Waterlily, Lotus is commonly confused for and misused for this species. The term Lotus has been used by us for customer searching purposes only. Lotus refers to Nelumbo spp.

To make the Petal & Stamen they remove the fibrous, woody flower centres from the flowers. The centres have no medicinal value at all. In fact it takes 8kg of Blue Lotus whole flowers to make 5kg of Blue Lotus Petals & Stamens. This makes it more expensive, but every gram of the product has the properties and active ingredients of the Blue Lotus.

When prepared as a tea one may expect to experience…

A heightened sense of awareness
Feelings of relaxed euphoria
A desire to connect with others
Enhanced sense of touch
Increased dream vividness and recall
Improved sexual libido

Uses:

To aid meditation, yoga, and wellness activities
Refreshment for conscious gatherings of friends and loved ones
Natural aphrodisiac
Lucid dreaming
Sleep aid

How to Brew Blue Lily Tea

Heat water to a boil. Use 3 grams of dried Blue Lily to 1-2 cups (250-500ml) of water. Pour the water over the tea, cover and leave to infuse for 5-10 minutes. Strain and serve.

A widely known practice is to soak 2-4 flowers in wine for 24 hours to give a noticeable and very pleasant synergy with the wine. If you choose to smoke it, roll dried flowers using rolling papers. All product forms will produce noticeable effect which can range from mild to a fairly strong sedative state.

Common Name.
