Serves: 4 | Cooking Time: 15 mins

  • 700g watermelon, cubed and frozen
  • 2 ripe bananas (1 frozen, 1 fresh for topping)
  • 1 apple, diced for topping
  • Organic Greek Yoghurt 1 cup OR coconut yoghurt
  • 1 cup ice
  • 2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup (optional)
  • Toppings: granola, chia seeds, coconut flakes, fresh mint

  1. Freeze watermelon cubes and 1 banana at least 2 hours ahead (or overnight).
  2. In a blender, combine frozen watermelon, frozen banana, yoghurt, and ice.
  3. Blend until thick and smooth. Add honey if you prefer it sweeter.
  4. Divide into 4 bowls.
  5. Slice the remaining fresh banana and dice the apple.
  6. Top bowls with fresh fruit, granola, chia seeds, and coconut flakes. Serve immediately.

Smoothie Tips: For a thicker bowl, use less ice and more frozen fruit. For a drinkable smoothie, add more liquid. Freeze ripe bananas in advance for the best results.
