Warm Apple & Pineapple Cinnamon Crumble

  • 3 apples, peeled and sliced
  • ½ pineapple, diced

Pantry Staples

  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • ¾ cup plain flour
  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • 100g cold butter, diced
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon

  1. Preheat oven to 180°C fan-forced (200°C conventional).
  2. Place the apples and pineapple into a lightly greased baking dish and sprinkle with half the cinnamon.
  3. In a bowl, rub together the flour, oats, brown sugar, remaining cinnamon and butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  4. Evenly scatter the crumble topping over the fruit.
  5. Bake for 35–40 minutes, or until the topping is golden and the fruit is bubbling around the edges.
  6. Allow to stand for 5 minutes before serving.

Chef's Tip: Serve warm with organic Greek yoghurt, cream or vanilla ice cream.
