Pineapple, Apple & Banana Upside-Down Cake

This is perfect for your box — uses all fruit beautifully.

Box Ingredients

  • Pineapple (small)
  • Apples
  • Bananas

Pantry Staples

  • 1 cup flour
  • ½ cup sugar
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 2 eggs
  • 100g butter (or oil)
  • ½ cup milk

  1. Slice pineapple + apples → arrange in base of greased cake tin.
  2. Add sliced banana over the top.
  3. Sprinkle a little sugar on fruit (for caramelisation).
  4. Mix batter: butter, sugar, eggs → add flour + baking powder + milk.
  5. Pour over fruit.
  6. Bake at 180°C for 35–40 mins.
  7. Cool slightly → flip upside down.

 This comes out sticky, sweet, and very “comfort dessert” for cooler weather.
