  • Potatoes (for chips)
  • 1 Lebanese cucumber, sliced
  • Cherry tomatoes, halved
  • Baby spinach

On-hand staples from the pantry

  • Olive oil
  • Salt & pepper
  • Optional: vinegar or lemon juice for dressing

  1. Preheat oven to 200°C.
  2. Cut potatoes into chips, toss with oil, salt, and pepper.
  3. Roast for 30–40 minutes, turning once, until golden.
  4. Season steak with salt and pepper.
  5. Cook in a hot pan for 2–4 minutes per side (to preference).
  6. Rest steak for 5 minutes.
  7. Toss cucumber, tomatoes, and spinach with dressing.
  8. Serve steak with chips and fresh salad.
