Apple & Orange Crumble

  • 4 apples, peeled and sliced
  • 2 oranges, segmented with juice reserved

Pantry ingredients

  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1 cup plain flour
  • 100g butter
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C fan-forced (200°C conventional).
  2. Place the apples, orange segments and juice into a greased baking dish.
  3. Rub the butter into the flour, oats, cinnamon and brown sugar until crumbly.
  4. Sprinkle the crumble mixture evenly over the fruit.
  5. Bake for 35–40 minutes until golden and bubbling.
  6. Serve warm with yoghurt, cream or ice cream.
