Apple Cinnamon Tea Cake

- 3 apples, peeled and sliced
Pantry ingredients
- 2 cups self-raising flour
- ½ cup caster sugar
- 125g butter
- 2 eggs
- ¾ cup milk
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- Preheat oven to 180°C fan-forced (200°C conventional).
- Cream butter and sugar.
- Beat in eggs.
- Fold through flour and milk.
- Spoon into a greased cake tin.
- Arrange apple slices on top and sprinkle with cinnamon.
- Bake for 40–45 minutes until cooked through.
