Decorated Eggs

You may wish to skip the chocolate and give out some gorgeous hand decorated Ornamental Easter Eggs. Read on to find out how!
Step 1: Poke Holes in the Egg
Use the sharp point of a pair of nail scissors or a sharp knife to poke a hole 5mm in diameter at each end of the raw egg. Do this over an empty bowl or container to catch drips.

Step 2: Blow Out Egg Whites and Yolk
Poke a pin through the holes to break up the yolk. Place a bulb syringe in one of the holes and squeeze to blow the contents of the egg out through the other end. Continue to gently squeeze until the entire egg is empty. You could also use a regular syringe to suck out contents. This makes a great Easter Saturday omelette or frittata!

Step 3: Clean and Dry Eggs
Rinse the blown egg out gently with water and a very small amount of dish liquid to remove any remaining contents. Allow to Dry.

Step 4: Decorate and Enjoy!

There are so many ways to decorate your eggs. You may like to use food colouring, paint, or make your own vegetable dyes. You can then decorate them with paint, stickers or ribbons – its time to get creative! After decoration, you can hang them up with string, or place several in a basket as an Easter centrepiece.

We're Cray-zy About These SA Lobsters

You have to try our Australian Southern Rock Lobster from the pristine cold Southern Ocean of South Australia.

Boasting sweet, delicate firm white flesh; a rich ‘sea spray’ flavour and a generous meat-to-shell ratio – almost double that of other lobster species – Australian Southern Rock Lobster is one of the world’s most indulgent food experiences.

Sustainability
The Australian Southern Rock Lobster fishery is one of the most visionary and carefully managed commercial wild fisheries in the world. Strict catch quotas, limited licenses, along with boat and pot numbers, are evidence of the industry’s commitment to ecological sustainability.

Nutrition
Low in kilojoules, high in protein and low in cholesterol and fat, Australian Southern Rock Lobster is becoming the food of choice for many health-conscious consumers.

Be sure to add some to your box for a delicious Easter feast!
